Installing Microsoft Office 365 on Personal Devices

VWU faculty, staff, and students have the option of installing Office 365 applications on up to 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets, and 5 smartphones. If the software is not already available on your desktop, follow the instructions below if you would like to access this software:

These instructions are for personal devices only. VWU owned machines will already have the applications installed.
  1. Use your VWU network credentials to login to Office 365 via the MyBeacon link.

  3. Once in the Office 365 web application, select the down arrow on Install Office to initiate the download.

  5. The installation package will download to your computer. Once it's complete, follow the Microsoft Office Installer instructions to install the software to your device.

  7. Start using your desktop applications!

    For files you may need to access from other devices, save to your Office 365 Cloud-based storage, One Drive - Virginia Wesleyan University rather than you local device.
