The Blackboard course list defaults to the instructor’s “Current Courses.” All courses in the system for the faculty member will appear in the Current Course list UNLESS that faculty member has manually entered an end date (that has passed) in the course duration settings.
There are primary and secondary filters that allow faculty to narrow this list down further.
NOTE | The secondary filter depends on the selection made in the primary filter. For example, if a user selects Fall Semester ‘21 in the primary filter, but then enters a Spring ‘21 course ID in the “Search your courses” box (secondary filter), nothing will appear in the results.
Click the star icon to add a course to your Favorites list so it appears at the top of the page. You can also choose to hide courses, which can later be found by selecting the “Hidden from me” option in the secondary filter.
