☁ Oracle Finance & Human Capital Management Fusion Cloud Implementation

In Summer 2022, the University selected Oracle Fusion Cloud as our new Enterprise Resource Planning system. Implementation work began almost immediately and the University is planning a phased launch beginning in summer 2023. The Division of Finance and Administration will be working in coordination with the Malbon Center for Technology to bring University departments into using the new system Supported Values - A Solid Foundation, Invest in our Future
  • Objective 1: Launch production environment (Summer 2023)

☁ Oracle Student Financial Planning (SFP) Implementation

In Summer 2022, the University also selected Oracle SFP as our next financial aid platform. The implementation work began in January 2023 with the plan to launch the platform in October 2023. Oracle SFP will greatly streamline the process of giving financial aid to our students, aiding in financial literacy, and the student’s overall experience. The University continues its partnership with Oracle, recently signing in the summer of 2023 to be an early adopter of the Oracle Student Fusion Cloud platform. πŸ“š Blackboard Ultra Pilot

In December 2021, the University upgraded to Blackboard Ultra Basenav, a major upgrade for the layout of the system, however, it left the structure of courses untouched. In the 2023/24 academic year, we will begin piloting the Blackboard Ultra Course View update which brings significant design changes to courses. The pilot will consist of a small team of instructors in the fall of 2023 to migrate select courses and develop an INTEL workshop experience to onboard faculty and set them up for success. In the spring semester of 2024 we will launch an open pilot for any instructor that wants to migrate to the new course design. The plan is to be fully on Blackboard Ultra Course View for the entire institution in the Fall of 2024. Supported Values - A Solid Foundation, Support Learning, Invest in our Future
