Benefits of a Professional License
The main benefit of a professional license is the ability to conduct meetings longer than 40 minutes. VWU owns a limited number of professional Zoom licenses available for faculty and staff.
VWU also has Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. They both allow all VWU accounts to conduct meetings with recordings. We recommend looking at Microsoft Teams and Google Meet first if you are needing meetings longer than 40 minutes.
Zoom Recordings
Recordings can be placed on your own device or can be recorded in the Zoom cloud. The VWU owned licenses are limited to 31 GB of cloud storage for the entire campus. Please move all recording files to a personal device or copy to your Microsoft OneDrive or Google Drive account rather than utilize the University Zoom cloud storage space.
