This information is only for a small percentage of our population who have different Blackboard accounts from their VWU account. The preferred method of logging in now is by using your VWU account and selecting the "Login with your VWU Network Account" option. Use the following link to change your VWU Network Account Password
Forgotten Blackboard Password
- Navigate to Blackboard https://virginiawesleyan.blackboard.com
- Click on the "Other users login..." link to show the login box
- Students, if your username is your 7 digit student ID, these instructions do not apply for you. These instructions only apply for students who have an older blackboard username. For Faculty & Staff, your Blackboard "USERNAME" is normally your username ( ex: jdoe if your email is jdoe@vwu.edu)
- If you have forgotten your Blackboard password, click on the “Forgot Password?” link. Submit the "Lost Password" form by filling out either the Username or Email address section and clicking "Submit".
- A new password reset link will be sent to your @vwu.edu email account.
Changing your Blackboard Password
- Navigate to Blackboard https://virginiawesleyan.blackboard.com
- From the base navigation menu on the left side of the screen, select your name to enter profile settings area.
- Click on "Change Password"
- Fill the form with your current password and new password twice and then click "Save."
