How to Reset Your VWU Password

Forgot your password? These instructions will give you step by step help to once again access your VWU account.

Navigate to the Virginia Wesleyan University Password Reset page at: https://go.vwu.edu/reset
On the “Sign in” screen (see picture below) enter your VWU account (if you are already signed in and don’t know your password, Microsoft will skip this screen and take you to step 4.)

Students: Enter either 7-digit VWU network name or VWU email address

Example: 1234567@vwu.edu or bmarlin@vwu.edu

Faculty/Staff: Enter your VWU email address

Example: bmarlin@vwu.edu

Select the “Forgot my password” link.

Fill out the Account Recovery form.

Select an account recovery method:

Note: If you no longer have access to your secondary email account and do not have the Microsoft Authenticator app configured, please contact the help desk to update your secondary email
