If in the event that your security key gets lost or stolen, deregister the security key immediately. A security key can be registered again if is relocated.
- Go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info
- Click ‘Delete’ next the name of the security key that is missing
- Click ‘Ok’
- Click Sign out everywhere
- Click ‘Ok’
