Connecting to MarlinsSecure Network

Connecting with an Apple Phone or Tablet
  • Select "MarlinsSecure" from Wireless Options and Tap “Connect”
    • Enter your VWU "Username" and "Password"

For Students: your VWU “Username” is normally your 7 digit student ID number.

For Faculty & Staff: your VWU “Username” is normally your username. (ex: jdoe if your email is jdoe@vwu.edu)

  • You will be asked to Trust the Agent. Tap Trust.

  • You will be asked to click connect.

  • If you get an error message tap on reattempt.

  • The system will show you logging in.

  • Wait for the Security Scan to finish.

  • Once you are connected to the Wi-Fi you will be direct to our home page.
    • Tap on Done when you are finished.

Connecting with a Windows laptop or desktop

MarlinsSecure requires a NAC Agent to be installed on your desktop or laptop computer. You can download the agent from the Google shared drive using your VWU email address.
NAC Agent Download
  • Select “MarlinsSecure” from Wireless Options and click “Connect”.

  • Enter your VWU “Username” and “Password”.

  • You will be asked to click to connect
  • If you get an error message click on reattempt

  • The system will show you logging in.

  • Wait for the security scan to finish
  • Once you are connected to the Wi-Fi you will be redirected to our home page
