You can set your Learn Ultra Course to private, open, or complete. You can set your Course Content to hidden, visible, or released based on the conditions you select.

Making courses available to students🏴This information applies only to Blackboard Learn Ultra.
Course availability
From the Details & Actions menu, you can view whether students can/can’t access your course.
Course is private
Click to make a course Open to Students.
Course is open
Click to Make Course Private to students.
When you Make Course Private, the course continues to appear in their course listings but students can't access it. When you Complete Course, students can access the content, but they can't participate.
Student access to course content
You can limit access to individual course content:
- Hidden from students (default)
- Visible to students
- Release conditions
Release Conditions
You can also choose one or more conditions before the content is released:
- Select members
- All members
- Specific members or groups
- Set additional conditions
- Date/Time to Show/Hide
- Performance/Grade requirement
Batch Edit
Quickly Batch Edit visibility to make items available to students.
- Select the items you want to make available, then open the Edit selection Options menu

Choose whether to make items Visible to students.
Edit dates
Choose dates to show selected items.
