The SmartEvals course evaluation link appears by default in all new course shells. Each reminder email received from SmartEvals also includes a link to login the system; however, when accessed through Blackboard, SmartEvals recognizes users based on their Blackboard login credentials.
There are three primary ways to provide access to the SmartEval links in Blackboard:
1. Tool link on the course menu
Select “Tool Link” from top of course menu
Select “SmartEvalsCourseTool” as the Type and check “Available to Users” box
“SmartEvals CourseTool” Link appears at bottom of course menu.
2. Tool link in the content area
Select the desired content area from the course menu where the link should be located. Select "Tools" > "More Tools" > and then "SmartEvalsCourseTool.”
Add optional text, adjust options as desired, and then click Submit.
The “SmartEvals CourseTool” link now appears at the bottom of the course menu. Drag and drop to desired location.
3. Link in announcement
Select “Announcements” from under Course Tools, then “Create Announcement.” Include a direct link to SmartEvals by clicking the + icon (with a circle around it) in the text editor. Then, select "SmartEvals-coursecontent." You'll be able to customize the link name before you insert it into the message.
Students will click on the icon in the announcement.
