12/11/23 - Recent updates to the Safari are preventing LTI connections (Submit Grades to Colleague, Portfolium). The issue stems from Apple trying to prevent websites from secretly tracking browsing activity. Use a different browser (Chrome vs. Safari) or check the following from Safari: 1. Enable "prevent cross-site tracking", 2. Enable pop-ups for https://virginiawesleyan.blackboard.com/, 3. Disable "block all cookies" to allow VWU authentication to work in Safari.

Midterm Grades Tab

Enter the Midterm Grade for each student. Once you are satisfied with the grades as posted, click Submit.

Do NOT hit the submit button multiple times. When the grades have processed you will see a submission confirmation.

Final Grades Tab

Enter the Final Grade for each student. Once you are satisfied with the grades as posted, click Submit.

Enter a date of last attendance for any F grades in MM/DD/YYYY format. VWU must report for Federal Financial Aid the last date of attendance for any student who receives an F. Leave the final grade field BLANK for an INCOMPLETE (contact the Registrar directly to report the I grade - include student name and course information).

Current Grade Column

The Blackboard Grade Center column "Set as External Grade" will populate the "Current Grade" field for your reference. This is usually the “Weighted Total” column or the “Total” column from the Blackboard Grade Center. The letter grade referenced is based on the grading schema.
